AN OBLITERATED AURA....
So depressed and devastated to hear about the sad demise of Sh. Binod Kumar Singh, Dy. Commandant, my friend and an Ex CPT mate.
He suffered severe injuries when a group of “Eunuchoists” blew up the ALM vehicle in which he was travelling near Barha Village in Gaya district. Since then he was fighting for his life at the AIIMS trauma centre with so many people praying for him. Sadly he lost his battle on 21st November and left silently to a world free off all sufferings. This brave soldier, this true patriot, this friend is now no more with us. He was a great man and a phenomenal officer. Those who came to know him would never forget him for his gentle nature and pleasant manners. I have known him since our CPT days and was more than a colleague. It was an honor for many of us to serve with such a great human being so full of energy and relentlessly optimistic. I hereby join the thoughts and prayers of all my friends and express my deepest sympathy in this time of loss and bereavement. May god give courage to his family to bear this tragic loss.
P.S:- Sh. B.K.Singh was almost as famous for his reluctance to pose for photographs. Yet he acknowledged to our team's request to pose for few photographs during our visit to Konark. These are those rare pictures.....
