RAISING A NEW CORRIDOR
141 Bn has celebrated its 10th raising day on last Sunday the 24th March 2013. It was a long, eventful and very entertaining night in the battalion headquarters at Bhadrachalam. Far away from the headquarters, in a small and remote naxal affected village, our company has celebrated this event with great enthusiasm, joy and pride making most of the limited resources available to us. A friendly volley ball match followed by a spectacular cultural program by the children of the civil police officers in variety of beautiful costumes was an absolute treat to the eyes of the distinguished audience. In fact the whole village was taken by surprise by our rather theatrical show of police - public relationship. It was not just a celebration aimed at promoting a solidarity to entertain ourselves but was a open handed embraa to those villagers Celebrations ended with an absolutely stupendous dining experience for all our guests.
